Oh, Spring!
As a little branch of the family over in another hemisphere starts thinking about baby sized anoraks and slippers, here at Wallace Street we're enjoying the odd day where it definitly feels like SPRING!
Spring means -
Going for a wine at Bar Edward in Newtown and stripping down to singlets and skirts in the hot sun - until 6.30pm!
Having the door to the balcony open while we cook dinner at 7pm.
Going out at night and wearing one jacket over my party frock instead of a cardy, a jersey, a jacket, a scarf, hat and gloves. I have even contemplated bare legs once or twice!!
Enjoying the Cross's garden bar until closing time instead of dinner time
Padding round the kitchen making poachies in the morning in a wee nightie instead of huge sheepskin slippers and a hoodie.
Getting distracted from final assignments by the lawn right in front of school on Vivian street - sooo good for lounging in the sun AND seeing and being seen.
(Rumble manning the outdoor bar at the cross)
